Wasmer operates as a cloud platform for deploying and scaling applications. Our Developer Experience Platform and Managed Infrastructure services enable Customers to build, deploy, preview, and collaborate on deployments globally via our edge network.
2. Applicability
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes Wasmer's practices for collecting, using, disclosing, and processing your information; it explains your rights; how to contact us; and how we protect your information when you:
- Visit Wasmer's websites (e.g., wasmer.io, docs.wasmer.io) and affiliated platforms such as blogs, event registrations, forums, and social media.
- Use or access our products, services, or related applications, including hosting, deployments, analytics, optimizations, domains, integrations, or marketing activities.
- Participate in events, accelerators, learning portals, webinars, or similar marketing and community interactions.
This Policy does not apply to:
- Personal information processed by Customers to provide services to their End Users. Customers are solely responsible for their compliance and for notifying their End Users.
- Third-party products, services, or software integrated with Wasmer services. You should consult their respective privacy notices.

3. Information We Collect
A. That You Provide Directly
We collect information when you interact with us, such as:
- Contact Info: Name, email, phone number, location—when signing up or reaching out.
- Professional Info: Company name, job title, industry.
- Account Info: Email, phone, username, optional profile picture, and social media links.
- Transactional Info: Payment data (e.g., hashed card info, billing address).
- Domain Registration Info: Domain name and registrant contact (public per ICANN).
- User Content: Code, text, files, images, recordings, Git data—everything you upload or provide ("Customer Content").
- AI-related Info: Prompts, uploaded materials, generated outputs associated with our AI features.
- Marketing Info: Communications, form entries, surveys, contact preferences.
- Media: Photos, audio/video—for support or event recordings.
- Support Info: Support chats, communications, logs, attachments.
- Social Media Info: Interactions via social widgets.
- Voluntary Info: Feedback, forum posts, community contributions.
B. From Third Parties
We may receive:
- Organization Data: From referral partners, e.g., name, job title, company.

C. From Customers
When interacting with Customer-hosted services, we may receive:

- Responsibility: Customers are responsible for content sent over Wasmer and compliance with their policies.
D. Automatically Collected
We collect usage and device data including:
- Usage Metrics: Page views, clicks, errors, timestamps, referrer and exit pages.
- Device Details: Device type, OS, browser, screen size, ISP, network, language.
- System Info: IP address, capacity, settings, logs.
- Location: City and country by IP (not precise).
- Telemetry: Aggregated, anonymized data.
- API Events: Usage of our APIs or integrations.
